Deck Shoe Canvas Ecru
The latest addition to our casual footwear range is the Deck Shoe, made in the same valley as our boots and under the same roof as our popular Boat Shoes.
Deck shoes are often made too long, which elongates and narrows the silhouette, in direct contrast to the proportions of a Summer wardrobe. As the mercury rises and wider trousers, shorts and flowy, textured shirts become necessities, we've developed our own shape to pair seamlessly with all of these casual staples.
The first step was the sole, which we've worked on for the past couple of years, as the shape of the unit defines the construction possible throughout the rest of the silhouette. Made up in a soft but hard-wearing rubber in a neutral tone, to pair best with the cotton canvas upper and our full range of casual trousers.
Washed for a lived-in feel, the large-scale canvas and suede side band give maximum texture and visual depth to the upper, which has been fully lined for comfort and durability. Following a similar process to the rest of our footwear, our final step was to lower the vamp as much as possible whilst rounding the toe-profile, creating a shape that will work both in the city and by the beach.
Presented in two colourways, a washed out slate grey to pair with the darker pieces from this season, such as our black wash denim shirts and jeans, or the classic ecru canvas, to pay homage to the icons which inspired us.

Delivery and returns
We strive to ship orders received on a weekday before 12pm (GMT) on the same day. All orders are shipped on a tracked express courier service.
US Customers will now have shipments sent Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). This means we take care of any customs fees, duties and taxes incurred by the shipment, and the final price paid at checkout is the total amount you will pay.
EU Customers also have shipments sent DDP. Customers in the rest of the world are responsible for any import duties or taxes.
Our dedicated returns portal is a straightforward way for both international and domestic customers to generate return shipping labels, the cost of which is minused from any refund. Exchanges are shipped free of charge.
